The Pricing Groups Screen

Use the Pricing Groups screen to manage pricing groups in PAYD Pro PlusTM. Together with category, brand name, attribute, promotion and fee management, pricing group management is part of PAYD Pro Plus inventory management functionality, which is accessed through the Inventory menu.

Pricing groups are one of the discount tools offered by PAYD Pro Plus. They allow you to create discounts on particular products that are available to certain customers only (e.g., preferred customers). By default, a pricing group applies to an entire Product Name, but may be overridden for one of its Product IDs.

You can assign pricing groups to customers and products in your PAYD Pro Plus system using the  Pricing Groups screen. You can also assign customers to pricing groups using the Customer Search Results screen (for help, see Editing Customer Details). And you can assign pricing groups to products using the Product Details view (for help, see Entering Additional Product Information).

To display the Pricing Groups screen:

  1. On the PAYD Administration main screen, click Inventory.

  1. On the Inventory menu, under the Pricing section, click Pricing Groups.

The view displays a clickable list of pricing groups set up in PAYD Pro Plus.

 

Pricing Group Management Functions

From the Pricing Groups screen, you can do the following:

NOTE: Depending on your user permissions, some functionality may be disabled or greyed out.

To view details of a pricing group:

  1. On the list, click the Pricing Group Name / Description.

Details of the pricing group appear in the Pricing Group Details view.

  1. To return to the previous view, on the Inventory menu, under the Pricing section, click Pricing Groups.
